Mr. Andrews, the Victoria State Labor Party Leader of Australia, Visited Southeast University-Monash University Joint Graduate School (Suzhou)

On the morning of December 5, Mr. Andrews, the Victoria State Labor Party leader of Australia visited Southeast University-Monash University Joint Graduate School (Suzhou) with a delegation of five.
Pu Yue, the vice president of Southeast University made a special trip to Suzhou to meet Mr. Andrews, and introduced educational cooperation and process in detail. After the meeting, accompanied by vice president Pu Yue, Mr. Andrews and his delegation visited the Suzhou Joint Graduate School Building, communicated with the student representatives there, getting to know their majors and study.
Mr. Andrews stated that the state of Victoria and Jiangsu Province are friendship state and province. Southeast University-Monash University Joint Graduate School (Suzhou) is the first joint graduate school between China and Australia promoted by the state and the province. With joint efforts the Joint Graduate School will surely achieve excellent results this year. This year also coincides with the fortieth anniversary of diplomatic relations between Australia and China, and the establishment of the Joint Graduate School is also a witness of the friendship between the two countries.
Mr. Andrews, graduating from Monash University in 1996, has been awarded the degree of Bachelor of Arts. In 2002, he was firstly elected member of the lower House of the state of Victoria, and thereafter was re-elected. Since the November of 2010, he has been the Victoria State Labor Party leader of Australia. This time, the visiting group also includes the Minister of Finance of Labor Party in Victoria Mr. Robin Scott, and the chief of staff Mr. Brett Curan.
