 “My Motherland - Exchange Camp 2008 for Students from Nanjing, Hong Kong and Macao”Open
The opening ceremony of My Motherland---Exchange Camp 2008 for Students from Nanjing, Hong Kong, and Macaohosted by the Committee for Liaison with Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese, Cultural Association of New Generation of Hong Kong, Federation of Chinese Students of Macao, Friends of the New Generation of Hong Kong and SEU, was held in Provincial CPPCC Auditorium July 28. SEU’s president YI Hong attended the ceremony and addressed the meeting.
 
The one-week camp gathered 335 campers, including more than 200 students from Hong Kong and Macao. The campers will visit some historical sites such as Confucius Temple, Slender West Lake and some Educational Base like Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum and The Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders in addition to visiting army units, villages, enterprises and listening to lectures on economics and culture.
