NANJING, May 29 (Xinhua) -- The Nanjing Creative Design Week has kicked off, featuring nearly 100 events surrounding industrial integration, college participation and neighborhood services.
With the theme creativity empowers Nanjing, a series of urban renewal projects were launched to add more cultural and creative elements to the city.
A fashion design center was officially open to Nanjing public in the meantime. Two overseas collaborative innovation centers of Nanjing -- one in Florence and the other in Venice -- were also established.
Universities and colleges have been rallied to accelerate the transformation of creative achievements and application of their creative resources in the urban space.
