Recently, a delegation from Saint Louis University (SLU), led by Wei Jia, Director of Asia-Pacific Strategy and Development, visited Southeast University. The delegation was received by Qiu Haibo, Vice-President of SEU, for in-depth discussions on institutional collaboration, student exchange programs, and joint research initiatives.

Qiu Haibo welcomed the delegation and briefed them on SEU’s development and its commitment to international engagement. Wei Jia detailed SLU’s academic strengths, particularly its competitive advantages in medicine and health sciences. Both sides agreed that the two universities share strong complementarities in medicine, health sciences, and biomedical engineering, pointing to broad prospects for long-term, in-depth cooperation.
Following the meeting, the delegation visited the National Key Laboratory of Digital Medical Engineering.
The meeting was attended by representatives from SEU’s International Cooperation Office, the School of Biological Science and Medical Engineering, and the School of Medicine.
