Delegation of Royal Institute of Technology Visited SEU

On August 28, vice-president of international affairs of Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), professor Stefan Östlund visited Southeast University. Chief accountant of Southeast University Ding Hui, directors of of Academic Affairs Office, International Cooperation Department, School of Architecture, School of Civil Engineering, School of Energy and Environment, etc., had talks with the guests.

During the meeting, Chief accountant Ding Hui said that SEU and KTH have a cooperative partnership of over 20 years. The two universities have similar objectives in major development and talent cultivation. We could further strengthen the technological and scientific cooperation by establishing comprehensive platform for international cooperation and scientific research. The cooperation should focus on key fields developed by multiple departments. President Östlund said that sustainable development and internationalization are two pillars of KTH. KTH has established long-term cooperation relationship with School of Architecture and School of Civil Engineering of SEU. We should carry forward the cooperation in scientific research. The development of comprehensive scientific research platform will bring our cooperation into a new level.

Subsequently, the two sides exchanged views on promoting academic cooperation in specific faculties and professional fields. After the talks, Chief accountantDing Hui and vice presidentÖstlund signed the 3 +2 joint training agreement.
