About the Speaker:

Lv Naiji is present director of Science and Technology Research Center of Southeast University, director of China Dialectics of Nature Research Board. He graduated from the Department of Chemistry of Fudan University in 1967 and also received a masters degree of philosophy in 1981. Professor Lv has extensive academic research interest, involving the relationship between science and culture, the revolution of science and technology and the transformation of Chinese society. In recent years, in the field of technical philosophy and technological theory, he has a more in-depth study and has great influence in the academic community. He has published more than 80 papers, written and translated 7 books and edited 3 books. His academic achievements have won second and third prize of philosophy and social science outstanding achievement of Jiangsu Province, and the Chinese book award. He also presided over the sub-topic of Developing the Province through Science and Education - technological innovation social environment, which has won the National Scientific and Technological Progress third prize. This year, Professor Lv has delivered lectures in many places such as Beijing, Guang Dong ,Zhe Jiang, Si Chuan and Jiang Su and universities, like Nanjing University, Central Party School, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Taiwan University, National Chengchi University, National Cheng Kung University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
