英国Cardiff大学肾脏病研究所是英国最著名的肾脏病研究机构之一，1998年与我校肾脏病研究所建立国际肾病学会肾脏姐妹合作中心，Phillips教授多次来我校访问和讲学，2002年受聘我校客座教授。
